    Suspicious package at US airport leads to arrest

    Miami police swooped on the main airport on Friday when screeners detected a suspicious article in a checked bag.

    A man was arrested in the arrivals area and taken into custody after four of the six Miami airport terminals were evacuated and closed.

    Airport roadways were also were closed as a safety precaution when a bag was taken from a concourse near the international arrivals section.

    The police bomb squad attended to the suitcase, taking away an unidentified item.
