    (IANS)

Indian golfer Shiv Kapur was unable to build on his first round and crashed out of the European Tour's 3 Irish Open golf here.

Also missing the cut was S.S.P. Chowrasia (78) in the second round here Friday.

Kapur totalled two-over 144, while Chowrasia had an aggregate of 11-over 153, way below the cut which came at 142.

Kapur, who was tied 25th on the first day, was three-over after six holes with a bogey and double bogey. A birdie on the seventh saw him turn in two-over. On the back-nine Kapur stumbled to three bogeys against just a lone birdie.

Chowrasia after the opening round 75 had five double bogeys against just a couple of birdies on another disastrous day.

England's Ross Fisher sank six consecutive birdies in his 10-under 61, grabbed the lead with a total of 12-under 130. Italian Francesco Molinari (66) followed him a couple of strokes behind in the second spot.
