Brits voted worst dressed in Europe

    (ANI)

England has been voted the worst dressed nation in Europe, says a survey.

Conducted by shopping website Ciao, a whopping 44 per cent in the study said Brits were the worst dressed behind the likes of the Swedes and Dutch, reports The Sun.

And the blame has been put on Brits' fixation with budget clothing from stores including Primark.

A spokesman said: "The Primani habit has led Brits to sartorial disaster."

Thirty three per cent thought the Germans were least fashionable, and the Italians were voted the most stylish with only three per cent calling them as badly dressed, the study said.

Ciao director Tom Hyde said: "The contribution that Brits have made to the fashion scene over the years includes icons like Vivienne Westwood, Kate Moss and Alexander McQueen.

"We were shocked to discover that Britain is seen as the worst dressed nation in Europe." (ANI)
