'Fully fit' Aamer eagerly waiting for ICC T20 World Championship

Pakistani fast bowler Mohammed Aamer, who has been out of action for the past few months due to a niggling groin injury, has recovered and is raring to take the field.

Aamer, who has been named in Pakistan's T20 squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Championship in West Indies, is hoping to lead the country's pace bowling department once again.

"He is really looking forward to it and hopes Pakistan has a fully fit squad," Aamer's manager told PakPassion.net.

Aamer, who played an important role in Pakistan's triumph in 2009 T20 World Cup, feels that the break from the international fixtures would actually help him perform better in the coveted tournament.

"Aamer is thankful for the break in cricketing fixtures. "He knows that he has a lot of time to rest and recover following a long international and domestic season leading into the T20 World up," his manager said. (ANI)
