    (IANS)

A Thai Airways plane with about 200 passengers on board was grounded in Los Angeles Wednesday after a bomb threat was made, authorities said.

Written threats saying there was a bomb on board were found in a lavatory of Thai Airways Flight 794, FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller was quoted as saying by Xinhua.

The flight from Bangkok landed at Los Angeles International Airport at 0345 GMT Wednesday and was taken to a remote part of the airport, said Eimiller.

About 200 passengers and crew were taken off the plane and a bomb squad was inspecting it, she said.
